For this past week I was working on small and miniature paintings featuring some of my favourite places to paint around Nova Scotia.You will soon see these online in my etsy store. They make perfect gift for art lovers. Shipping is free in Canada 🙂
Here are just a few of my favourite moments from 2015:
In spring 2015 I participated in Art is all Around event (part of Peggy’s Cove area festival of the arts) where artists had to paint or create piece of art on vinyl LP records. My painted vinyl “Harbour Mist. Peggy’s Cove” won the People’s Choice vote at the festival’s booth at Saltscapes Expo.
Once again I had wonderful time at Paint Peggy’s cove and Paint sea on site in Lunenburg this past July. I get lots of inspiration from these plein air trips and meet many interesting people.
And of course my show “Colours of Peggy’s Cove” at Teichert gallery in downtown Halifax in August
