Dartmouth Christmas ornaments

Dartmouth Christmas ornaments

Hand painted Christmas ornaments of Dartmouth City

With the Holidays coming I decided to paint some Christmas ornaments once again. This year’s theme is Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

I tried to pick Dartmouth favourite icons like Canoe clubs on lake Banook, Town clock, the illuminated sculpture of a Christmas tree and little light house on Sullivan’s pond. All of these ornaments and miniatures are now available at The Dart Gallery in Dartmouth at 127A Portland Street. You can also purchase prints & cards with images from my original paintings and original paintings there as well.

Below are miniature paintings on 2X2 and 3X3 canvas that have golden ribbon attached to the back for hanging on Christmas trees. These mini works of art feature Banook Canoe club, Mic Mac AAC and Senobe Aquatic club. There is also one 3X3 ornament of the Town Clock on Dartmouth waterfront.

3X3 ornaments are $45 each

2X2 ornaments are $28 each

Ball ornaments are hard to paint and I only paint one or two of them for each Christmas. Banook canoe club building seemed like a perfect subject for this ornament.

Below are two miniature paintings I did on wood that can serve as Christmas decorations or wall hangings. They are approximately 4X4 inches each and have golden boarder and back painted.
